Jetpack 7.4 is now available for download. This is a general maintenance release that aims to fix several bugs and improve the flows around installing and configuring Jetpack on your site.
Here’s what’s new this month.
Business Hours Block
The Business Hours block is a very useful block for business owners looking to create a website to promote their services. We introduced that block in version 7.1, and decided to improve its design in this release. Business Hours are now displayed in a more compact look to be easier to read.
Slideshow Block
The slideshow block is another one of our blocks, and we’ve also improved it so it now looks better on mobile devices!
Tiled Galleries Block
If you prefer to rely on Tiled Galleries to display images on your site, we’ve also made some important changes. When editing a gallery, we now display smaller images when you are on a mobile device to save you some bandwidth!
Carousel
Are you familiar with our Carousel feature? It’s a simple way to add a “lightbox” effect to your galleries and single images.
In this release, we’ve fixed compatibility issues with some themes, so entering and exiting the Carousel modal is as smooth as possible.
Sharing
Did you know Jetpack’s Sharing feature included an option to share posts via WhatsApp? We’ve improved this sharing button to make sure that the button opens either the WhatsApp app or WhatsApp’s web interface, in all browsers. Kudos to kbrown9 for his contribution in this release!

Please note that this release requires that you run a recent version of WordPress (5.1 or newer), as well as a version of PHP higher than PHP 5.3.2. If you use an outdated version of WordPress or PHP, we recommend that you update your site to the latest version as soon as possible.

hello, my site jetpack installed. We are very pleased. We are very fast with CDN support. and
a lot of features wonderful . a few “keyphrase” The adding system would be very good though. 🙂

This is an extraordinary update. But I don’t really understand using the new editor feature. Currently it still survives with the classic editor

You’re free to use whatever editor works best for you. Jetpack will work well whether you use classic blocks in the block editor, other blocks in the block editor, or the classic editor!
