This month, we’re shipping several under-the-hood improvements and bug fixes to make Jetpack work even better for you and your website. Here are the highlights:
- We’re ensuring that Jetpack is compatible with the upcoming version of WordPress including Full Site Editing.
- We’re simplifying how your site accesses the features made available by the WordPress.com cloud infrastructure.
Access features without logging in
In Jetpack 9.7, we’re making it easier than ever to unlock the power of Jetpack. Where possible, we don’t require you to be logged into WordPress.com. By simply connecting your site to Jetpack, you gain access to these features:
- Stats
- Site Accelerator (CDN)
- Contact form
- SEO Tools
- Most Jetpack blocks
- List of all features can be found here
If you tried to connect to WordPress.com before, but had problems authenticating your account, you’ll also gain access to these features with this update.
And more
- We’ve made some changes to Carousel that should bring a performance improvement on all pages where Carousel is loaded.
- We’ve also been busy fixing some bugs in Instant Search to make your search experience as quick and easy as possible.
- This release also includes many other bug fixes and improvements — check the changelog for more details.
To use the latest version of Jetpack on your site, update your existing installation or install Jetpack.

Hi there!
Since your site is hosted on WordPress.com, the changes mentioned in this post will not help you. If you have questions about your site, I would recommend that you ask for support from the WordPress.com support team here.

I want to be part of the automatic family. What I can do? Well I can give them valuable feedback, writes reviews of their work and strategy.
I’ve started my long journey with wp in December 2020. Recently I’m working on writing seo friendly posts. I see, security is a critical issue. I’m not taking it lightly.
Thank you.
