Jetpack 7.0.1 is now available for download. It addresses a security issue reported to us via HackerOne, and updates the Publicize feature in anticipation of changes to the LinkedIn API in the near future.
Jetpack Search Security Changes
Keeping your sites safe is always our priority, and this update improves the security of the Search feature. We fixed a vulnerability that impacted administrators using the Debug Bar plugin on their site alongside Jetpack’s Search feature.

LinkedIn changes
In anticipation of some changes in LinkedIn’s API on March 1st, we have updated the Publicize feature LinkedIn connections to use a newer API. In practice, that means that if you currently use our Publicize feature to link your site to your LinkedIn account, you will need to head over to this page and reconnect your site to your LinkedIn account.
As always, the full changelog offers more details on this update. We recommend that you update your sites to the latest version as soon as possible, particularly if you use Jetpack’s Search Feature on your sites.
Jetpack 
There is a problem with this version. Since i hace actualized, the images don’t appear. If i disconnect the plugin, the images return.

Could you email us via this contact form and give us more information about your site and the broken images, so we can investigate with you? I would also recommend that you go to Jetpack > Settings in your dashboard and try to turn off the Site Accelerator feature.

Hello. I received notification just now of this update. But WordPress gave the following warning –
Warning: this plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress.
I’ve had this before with a different plugin. My question is, how is it possible for someone to release an update to potentially millions of users if it hasn’t been tested on the latest WordPress version? Is this what happened, or is the warning erroneous for some reason?

We indeed forgot to update the text showing that Jetpack is indeed tested with the latest version of WordPress. We’ll get that updated in the next release. You can rest assured though, Jetpack is compatible with the current version of WordPress; we always test Jetpack against the development version of WordPress, the current version, and the previous version.
