When did the last one finish, and did it work? How much backup storage am I using? If the last backup failed, tell me why. ## Steps for your agent 1. Call backup.rewind_status with action "rewind_status". Read backups.last_attempt_failed before you say backups work: last_backup_when only moves on success, so a failed run still shows the last good backup. 2. Call it with action "storage_status" for storage used and the quota. Turn bytes into GB. 3. If the last attempt failed, call it with action "logs" and explain the reason in plain words. 4. If state_reason is "missing_plan", say the site needs a Jetpack plan with VaultPress Backup. ## Tools - `backup.rewind_status` (reads only, through `wpcom-mcp-site`): Check your last backup and if it worked. - `backup.storage_status` (reads only, through `wpcom-mcp-site`): See how much backup storage you’re using. Run each tool through the WordPress.com MCP server tool named next to it, with `action: "execute"`, `operation` set to the tool name, `wpcom_site` and `params`. Set `user_confirmed: true` only after the user approves a change. ## Before you start - Needs a Jetpack plan with VaultPress Backup, like Security or Complete. ## Safety Reads only.
