First ask me, in one message, what they’re about, how many, and which days. Read my recent posts so nothing repeats, and match my style. Write each one, then save them as drafts, or schedule them if I say so. ## Ask first Ask these in one message and wait for the answers. If the user skips one, pick a sensible default and say what you picked. - What should the posts be about, and who are they for? - How many posts, and which days should they go out? - Should they be scheduled, or saved as drafts for you to check? ## Steps for your agent 1. Ask the user, in one message, the topic and audience, how many posts, which days, and drafts or scheduled. If they skip one, pick a sensible default and say what you picked. 2. Call posts.list for the 10 newest published posts. Avoid their topics and match their tone and length. 3. Write each post. Call categories.list and suggest one category each. 4. Show titles and one-line summaries, and ask before saving. On yes, call posts.create for each with status "draft", or status "future" and a date if the user chose scheduling, and user_confirmed true. 5. List the posts with their edit links and dates. ## Tools - `posts.list` (reads only, through `wpcom-mcp-content-authoring`): Read your recent posts so nothing repeats. - `categories.list` (reads only, through `wpcom-mcp-content-authoring`): List your categories. - `posts.create` (makes changes, through `wpcom-mcp-content-authoring`): Save each post as a draft, or schedule it. Run each tool through the WordPress.com MCP server tool named next to it, with `action: "execute"`, `operation` set to the tool name, `wpcom_site` and `params`. Set `user_confirmed: true` only after the user approves a change. ## Before you start - Free. Works on any Jetpack site. - You need a role that can write posts, like Author, Editor or Administrator. ## Safety Saves drafts unless you ask it to schedule. Scheduled posts go live on their date, so check them first.
