Make sure search engines aren’t blocked, the title, tagline and site icon are set, there’s a homepage, a contact page with a form and a privacy policy, and that backups, downtime alerts and account protection are on. Give me a checklist with what’s missing first. ## Steps for your agent 1. Call settings.get with include_reading and include_identity true. If blog_public is 0, put “Search engines are blocked” first: it’s the most common launch mistake. 2. Check the title (blogname), tagline (blogdescription) and site icon. Say what’s blank. 3. Call pages.list (status "publish") and look for a homepage, a contact page and a privacy policy. Call jetpack-forms/list-forms to check there’s a published form. 4. Call monitor.status, backup.rewind_status (action "rewind_status"), account-protection.status (action "status") and core/get-environment-info. 5. Give a checklist: done, missing, or not on this plan. Most important first. Don’t change anything. ## Tools - `jetpack-forms/list-forms` (reads only, through `jetpack-remote-abilities`): List your forms and how many replies each one has. - `core/get-environment-info` (reads only, through `jetpack-remote-abilities`): Read your WordPress, PHP and database versions. - `settings.get` (reads only, through `wpcom-mcp-site`): Read your title, tagline, icon and search engine setting. - `pages.list` (reads only, through `wpcom-mcp-content-authoring`): Find your homepage, contact page and privacy policy. - `monitor.status` (reads only, through `wpcom-mcp-site`): Check downtime alerts are on. - `backup.rewind_status` (reads only, through `wpcom-mcp-site`): Check backups are set up. - `account-protection.status` (reads only, through `wpcom-mcp-site`): Check account protection is on. Run each tool through the WordPress.com MCP server tool named next to it, with `action: "execute"`, `operation` set to the tool name, `wpcom_site` and `params`. Set `user_confirmed: true` only after the user approves a change. ## Before you start - Free to run. The backup line needs VaultPress Backup, and the version line needs WordPress 6.9 or later. - You need to be an administrator. ## Safety Reads only. Nothing on your site changes.
