Views and visitors for today, this week and this month, in one short answer.

## Prompt

> How is my site doing today? Give me views and visitors for today, this week and this month, and how many posts I’ve published this month. Keep it to three lines.

## Steps for your agent

1. Call statistics.get three times, with start_date and end_date (YYYY-MM-DD, inclusive) set to today, the last 7 days and the month so far. The calls can run in parallel.
2. Lead with today’s views and visitors. Add posts_published for the month.
3. statistics.get has no top posts, referrers or locations. If the user asks for them, say this tool can’t see them yet.

## Tools

- `statistics.get` (reads only, through `wpcom-mcp-site`): Read views and visitors for today, this week and this month.

Run each tool through the WordPress.com MCP server tool named next to it, with `action: "execute"`, `operation` set to the tool name, `wpcom_site` and `params`. Set `user_confirmed: true` only after the user approves a change.
