Welcome to Jetpack 12.7, which brings with it great new features to improve your content creation experience, ranging from AI Assistant improvements to the introduction of paid Newsletter tiers.
AI excerpts and AI Assistant improvements
We’ve added a new feature that lets you generate excerpts for your content using AI. This helps you write effective summaries that are engaging and intriguing, resulting in more click-throughs to the full post.
We’ve also made various improvements to the way the AI Assistant works, including improving how prompts are generated and expanding content in different languages.
Paid Newsletter tiers and Blogroll is back
When setting up your paid newsletter, you can now create different tiers of membership and control which content is accessible to each type of paid subscriber. This is perfect if you want to have a low initial barrier to entry and then increase the price to access top-tier content.
We’ve also brought back the blogroll where you can display sites that you recommend to people visiting your website. A great way to show appreciation for websites that produce great content.
Social sharing improvements
We have added the ability to quickly share your new post on social media after you have published it, as well as additional options to show like and share buttons at the bottom of your posts.

To round up the release, we’ve made various bug fixes and improvements to make your day to day use of Jetpack smoother, including improvements to the dashboard for non admin users.
