Start using the Jetpack app to continue using your favorite Jetpack features, including Stats, Notifications, Reader, and more.
In March 2023, Jetpack features were removed from the WordPress app and will only be available in the Jetpack app.
The Jetpack app is free to use. You can continue to use the same features you’ve been enjoying in the WordPress app at no cost.
How to switch to the Jetpack app
Transition from the WordPress app to the Jetpack app by taking the following steps:
- Make sure you have the latest version of the WordPress app installed and are logged in.
- Download the Jetpack app.
- You’ll be automatically logged in with all your data and settings in place, including locally stored content, saved posts, and other in-app preferences.
- After migrating to the Jetpack app, please uninstall the WordPress app. Managing your site across both apps is currently unsupported and may lead to issues like data conflicts.
The reason behind the move
WordPress comes in more than one flavor and serves a diverse range of site administration needs. After listening to a lot of feedback around varying expectations, we settled on creating two options for you to have WordPress on the go.
The WordPress app’s focus shifts to a closer-to-core publishing and site management experience.
The Jetpack app will have the same focus on publishing, but you’ll also have the added benefit of powerful site management and growth tools.
