In this month’s release, we’ve improved the user experience around connecting your site to WordPress.com. It’s now faster and more reliable, helping you to diagnose and fix issues as quickly as possible.
Additionally, some new tools will now allow you to transfer a connection to a different administrator on your site.
A better Video block
Jetpack’s video hosting feature allows you to upload videos and host them on WordPress.com, rather than on your host’s servers. Once you’ve uploaded your videos, you can add them to your posts and pages using the Video block:
As you can see on the right of the image above, can now customize your video settings right from the editor.

I can’t download your patch update for your original update, because the original update has caused my since to bounce between http and https, stopping me from making any changes like updating plugins or creating a new post. How do I fix the problems causes by your update?

If Jetpack 7.7 is causing issues on your site, I would recommend that you delete it altogether, and then reinstall 7.7.1 from scratch.

I have hundreds of bizarre users (strange names). How do I delete them or best filter out the fakes?

You could use a plugin like this one to help you clean your user list. Before you do so, I would also recommend that you review your site settings under Settings > General. Unless your site offers some kind of membership or offers specific content or functionality to logged in users, I would recommend that you disable user registrations on your site, to avoid spam registrations.

Hey,
I have a question on sitemap generated by Jetpack. I have RankMath installed which is generating sitemaps and I also opted for Jetpack for generating a sitemap. Now the question is ” Is it a good practice to generate sitemap from two different plugins?”
Does Jetpack respect the no-Index tags generated by Rankmath? because I see in google search console the jetpack sitemap has 194 items whereas the rankmath sitemap has only 43 items.

You don’t need two different plugins to generate sitemaps on your site; one should be enough. Since you’ve already configured RankMath, I would recommend that you deactivate Jetpack’s Sitemaps feature under Jetpack > Settings > Traffic in your dashboard.
