Troubleshoot Double Encoding issues

Resolve a “double encoding” error if you’re using a third-party app like WordPress.com for Google Docs.

To test for a double encoding error, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to http://yoursite.com/?%40
  2. Replace yoursite.com with the URL of your WordPress site.
  3. Check if your browser changes the URL to https://yoursite.com/?%2540 (note that ?%40 changed to ?%2540).
  4. If yes, please contact your hosting company.
