Tiers
For commercial sites, billing for stats is based on a tiered system according to your website’s traffic. The tiers are as follows:
- Up to 10k views
- Up to 100k views
- Up to 250k views
- Up to 500k views
- Up to 1M views
- Extra charge per million if views exceed 1M
If you’re unsure about your expected traffic, choose the lowest tier. You can upgrade later as needed. For detailed pricing of each tier, please log in and visit our purchase page.
Furthermore, our Jetpack Complete plan comes bundled with a 100K tier Stats plan. This bundled package includes all the features and benefits of our standalone commercial Stats plan, with the added value of 100,000 views per month.
If your site exceeds the 100K monthly views included in Jetpack Complete plan, you would need an additional upgrade to accommodate the greater number of views. For example, if a site with 300K monthly views has a Jetpack Complete plan, 100k views are included in the plan, so the site would need to add-on the 250K monthly views plan to bring the total number of allowed monthly views to 350K.
Handle traffic spikes
We understand that unexpected traffic spikes can occur. To accommodate this, we exclude page views for the two highest-traffic days of each month from your monthly limit.
Overage forgiveness, upgrades, and downgrades
Occasionally, you may experience higher-than-normal traffic. If you exceed your limit, we will notify you and suggest an upgrade. If you are on a paid tier and exceed your limit for three consecutive months, you will be required to upgrade to a higher tier to continue using our stats service.
Important note: The three-month grace period only applies to upgrades from a paid tier to a higher one. If your commercial site is on a free plan and exceeds 1,000 views in a single month, you’ll be required to upgrade the following month. The three consecutive months rule does not apply to upgrades from free to a paid plan.
Upgrades are prorated based on the date you upgrade.
If your site’s monthly traffic stays below your current tier’s threshold for three consecutive months, please contact support to discuss downgrading to the next tier. Currently, plan downgrades are not automated.
