How to use Jetpack AI to craft your post titles

Jetpack AI-powered title improvements are available for posts, pages, and custom post types that use the WordPress block editor. Title suggestions are generated based on your post content and can be optimized for SEO by including optional keywords.

Here is how to generate or improve an existing post title:

1. Start by drafting your content. The post title will be based on what you write.
2. Find and expand the Writing Assistance section in the sidebar of your post or page editor. Make sure you’ve clicked on either the Post tab or the green Jetpack icon in the top right. Otherwise, you will not see the Writing Assistance section.
3. Under Optimize Title, lick the Generate title options button.
4. Jetpack AI Assistant will open a pop-up window, displaying a loading animation while the title suggestions are generated. The first generation is based solely on your content.
5. If you are not fully satisfied, you can click Generate again to get three new suggestions. Before regenerating, you can add comma-separated keywords to improve SEO by including them in the suggestions.
6. Repeat as many times as needed. Once ready, choose from one of three suggestions by clicking Replace title.
7. Publish your post.

Use Jetpack AI to generate post titles based on a custom prompt

If promptless title suggestions do not meet your needs, you can refine the prompt:

1. Insert the Jetpack AI Assistant Block anywhere in your page.
2. Enter a prompt requesting a title, such as: “Generate a catchy title for this post.”
3. If you like the suggested title, click the Accept button. Otherwise, click the Regenerate icon for another option.
4. Once satisfied, copy the generated title and paste it into the post’s title field.
