Jetpack Manage: Issuing, Assigning, and Revoking Licenses

You can issue new licenses, assign licenses manually or automatically, and revoke licenses from Jetpack Manage.

Issuing a License and Assigning It to a Site Automatically

The steps below outline how to issue a new license and assign it to a site automatically.

1. Go to https://cloud.jetpack.com/dashboard
2. Click Licensing

3. Click Issue New License.

4. Click the checkbox for the license you would like to issue.

5. Enter your payment details (if needed).

6. Click Save payment method.

7. Click the checkbox for the site you want to assign the license to.

8. Click Assign 1 License to finish assigning the new license to your site.

Issuing a License Without Assigning It to a Site

Follow the steps below to issue a new license from Jetpack Manage. Please note that when you issue a license, you will be charged for the license even though it has not been assigned to a site.

1. Go to https://cloud.jetpack.com/dashboard
2. Click Licensing.

3. Click Issue New License.

4. Click the checkbox for the license you would like to issue.

5. Click Select License.

6. Enter your payment details (if needed).

7. Click Save payment method.

8. Click Assign later to finish issuing the license without assigning it to a site.

Manually Assigning a License to a Site

1. Go to https://cloud.jetpack.com/dashboard
2. Click Licensing. A list of all active licenses will be displayed at first.

3. Click Unassigned to filter the list of licenses so only unassigned licenses are shown.

4. Click Assign License next to the license you want to assign to a site.

5. Click the checkbox for the site you would like to issue the license to.

6. Click Assign to website to finish assigning your Jetpack license to the site.

Revoking a License

1. Go to https://cloud.jetpack.com/dashboard
2. Click Licensing.

3. Locate the license you want to revoke in the list of active licenses on your account.
4. Click ⌄ to reveal additional information and options for the license.

5. Click Revoke License to Revoke license. Revoking a license removes the license from the site and removes the license from the account. This action cannot be undone.

6. Click Revoke License on the confirmation box that appears. This will remove the license from the site it was assigned to and your account. This cannot be undone.
