Capture potential leads and integrate them directly with Jetpack CRM.
What you need to get started
This feature works with Jetpack CRM. For Newsletters powered by the Jetpack plugin and Paid Newsletter Subscriptions, please see the Jetpack Newsletter support guide.
To use the Lead Capture Form, you’ll need:
- A Jetpack CRM active and connected plugin.
- Jetpack’s Contact Form feature must be enabled. This should be enabled by default, but if it’s not, you can enable it as described here.
- The Lead Capture block is a part of the Jetpack Blocks suite. See our Jetpack Blocks article to learn about the available blocks and how to activate them.
Jetpack Blocks require the Block Editor (also referred to as the Gutenberg editor). If you’ve installed the Classic Editor plugin, you have a few options:
- Deactivate the Classic Editor: Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins in your WP Admin and deactivate the Classic Editor plugin.
- Enable both editors: If you prefer flexibility, navigate to Settings → Writing in your WP Admin (not the menu under Jetpack settings). Set Allow users to switch editors to Yes. You will only see these options if you have the Classic Editor plugin installed and active.
Some custom themes or plugins may prevent you from using the Block Editor. In that case, please contact the support team for the plugin or theme for further assistance.
For more details, see Using Blocks and the Classic Editor.
Add the Lead Capture Form block
Start gathering lead information from your website’s visitors by:
- In your WordPress editor, search for the Lead Capture form in the block picker. You can also type “
lead capture” directly in your post or page. See our Jetpack Blocks page for more information on adding Jetpack blocks. - You can customize the form via the Block’s sidebar settings and styles options. You can also adjust the text displayed in the opt-in field.
- Decide if you want to use the Lead Capture Form with Jetpack CRM, both described below.
Once the form is setup, your visitors can opt-in to receive emails from you. The feedback you receive from these forms will be saved in the Jetpack Feedback section of the wp-admin.
Users who have opted-in to receiving new emails from you will have the meta field email_marketing_consent set to 1.
You can export your feedback as a CSV for later use.
Lead Capture integration with Jetpack CRM
The Lead Capture Form block also offers a CRM Integration using the Jetpack CRM plugin.
If Jetpack CRM is not already installed on your site, you can install it directly from the Lead Capture Form block settings under CRM Connection. You can also download the free core plugin from here. More information and help with installing the Jetpack CRM plugin are on this Getting Started page.

This email will include the submitter’s IP address, timestamp, name, email address, website, and message. The IP address is included as an abuse prevention measure.
